CENTRE TO FILE REVIEW PETITION IN SUPREME COURT AGAINST SCHEDULED CASTE/ SCHEDULED TRIBES (SC/ST) ACT RULING

The Central government has decided to file a review petition before the Supreme Court next week challenging its order banning automatic arrests and registration of criminal cases under the Scheduled Castes (SC) and the Scheduled Tribes (ST) Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989.
