NEED OF CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS FOR EFFICIENT JUSTICE DELIVERY IN ASPECT OF EASE OF DOING BUSINESS: SUPREME COURT

The Supreme Court has highlighted on the need for a proper case management system to ensure timely delivery of justice for appeals related to land disputes. For ease of doing business in so far as justice delivery is concerned, it is time to introspect and introduce case management programmes to streamline the system so that suits and appeals can be decided more efficiently. The Court made this observation while hearing an Appeal on a suit filed in 1987 for Specific Performance of an agreement to sell.
