DON’T ADMIT PIL ON BASIS OF CONFIDENTIAL REPORTS: CENTRE TO SUPREME COURT

The Centre said to the Supreme Court not to entertain any petition filed on the basis of documents like leak of confidential reports and file notings of governments and various agencies, including the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate, and the Supreme Court said that they must ask the petitioner to reveal the name of the whistleblower or the source of information before entertaining the petition.
