IF PRIVATE COMPANIES CAN HAVE DATA, WHY NOT STATE CAN HAVE DATA: SUPREME COURT

The Supreme Court wondered why citizens could not share data with state when they were ready to share data with private bodies like Apple to access devices. The Court made this observation while hearing challenge petitions which are filed against Centre’s Aadhaar mandatory scheme stating that it was a violation of citizen’s right to privacy.
